Which bookie?

bookie betfredGamblers tend to have their own preferred bookie, be it a high street shop, a track bookie or, increasingly these days, on online bookmaker. Some sites rank bookmakers by customer service, fees, charged, average odds, etc but to be honest these things change so quickly I don’t personally think it’s worth the time to worry about it.

My advice would be to open a few accounts (how many depends on how frequently you bet) and do a quick shop around for the best odds and special offers. Nearly all bookies will give you a free bet for new customers opening up a betting account and there will be special offers near big events (e.g. world cup, etc) so I will keep an eye on things. In the meantime here are some of the bigger bookies and links for a free bet.
